These pieces are made by rolling out flat sheets of porcelain and laying them over wooden molds. Feet are attached to the piece before it is flipped off the mold. Handles are made by folding thin slabs into hollow shapes and attaching to the edge of the piece.
Once dry, the piece is fired to 1950F. After firing, the piece is glazed before going into a second firing at 2200F. The glaze surfaces range from statin matt to semi-glossy.
This pottery is suitable for food use and is dishwasher safe. Avoid using in the oven to insure a long useful life.
